Beth
Dunwody, Managing Partner/Producer
beth@brightbluesky.com
Co-founder of
Bright Blue Sky Productions, Beth directs
concept development, content & the
creative process. An Atlanta producer once
commented that she is ‘perhaps the
best interviewer’ they have ever
seen. In her mind that simply means she
puts people at ease and is more concerned
about how the interview subject comes across
than how she does. Beth has co-produced,
developed the concepts, and scripted the
vast majority of projects in “Our
Gallery”.
Beth is most often
described as a skilled communicator who
is insightful, diplomatic, and quick to
grasp the big picture. For this reason,
CEOs and other executives frequently seek
her out to get to the heart of the matter
on critical issues. But don’t let
all this business savvy fool you, her creative
approach is fresh, substantive and multi-dimensional.
A Little Background…
As a former Banking
VP Beth has provided consulting services
over the years for major financial institutions
and corporations throughout the state since
1985. Her consulting background has honed
her listening skill while her extensive
work in corporate communications enables
her to translate and effectively convey
what she has heard. She has performed due
diligence work in multi-million dollar
acquisitions, worked as liaison with legal
counsel and various regulatory agencies,
and developed corporate training materials
on a national level. She is active in the
community and has served on a variety of
boards over the years and is a frequent
motivational and inspirational speaker.
A Macon native,
Brandy is a 18 year veteran of the film
industry. He cut his teeth as camera assistant
on feature films like Love Potion # 9 and
1969 as well as other film and television
projects back when the production business
was booming in Atlanta in the late 80's
and early 90's. He has recently returned
to Georgia after spending 11 years in the
Colorado mountains working in a variety
of industry related jobs including a two
year stint as camera operator for Resort
Sports Network. Brandy also wrote, produced,
and directed a feature length documentary
film called Gold & Brimstone: John
Lewis Dyer and the Colorado Gold Rush.
He currently works with BBS in production
in various capacities. Most recently he
accompanied the BBS HD camera package to
Winston-Salem NC where he acted as First
AC for a feature film project shot in High
Definition (HD).
Stephanie
Shadden, Producer/Senior Editor
stephanie@brightbluesky.com
"I grew up in the “big
city” of
Hampton, Ga., where I claim most of the population
as family. I was born into a loving Christian
family from whom I inherited a profound legacy
that I hope to live and pass on to others.
God, family and friends are what I value
in life, and everything else just seems to
fall into place."
Art has been a big interest
of Stephanie since childhood, so it just
made sense for her to get a degree in Art
in college. She broke into the media world
in 1997 when she produced and edited training
videos for the corporation she then worked
for. In 2000, she went to work with the North
American Mission Board, where she learned
most of what she knows today about the film
and video industry. She traveled to South
Africa, Venezuela and several U.S. cities,
and produced videos for an international
sports mission agency and other organizations.
She has also made appearances in feature
films and national TV ads.
"I am blessed to be
here at Bright Blue Sky Productions and am
thrilled to see what is yet to come on the
road ahead."
